Deborah Smith has 25 years’ combined experience in manufacturing, research and development, and business management across the mattress, upholstery and home products industries.
Ms. Smith, who joined Lilly Management Group in 2006, was Manager of Research and Development for Serta, Inc. She has proven expertise in quality assurance, training and development of mattress factory personnel and procedures, mattress manufacturing efficiencies and flammability testing.
Before joining Serta in 2000, Ms. Smith spent 14 years as a Business and Production Manager for a Barrington, IL-based outdoor home products producer. In the early years of her career, she also owned and operated a successful marine and auto upholstery business.
